Are Top professional footballers working too hard?

Gordon Taylor, football players' chief believes that England's top footballers are working too hard.
He used Stephen Gerrard as an example.Gerrard has started six games in the last 18 days, including England's trip to Moscow and Liverpool's to Istanbul.

If you ask me, footballers are footballers.Playing is what they are paid for.How much they play is'nt their choice. Say you were tired from work all day, would you call your boss and say that you wer'ent coming in because you were tired? .They dont get paid tens of thousands of pounds a week to sit on their ass. I am a big football fan, football is the best game in the world. No question about it, they deserve their money, they have worked hard to get to where they are now. A bit more effort lads, eh?
